Mostly funded by state contracts, Child & Family Service is a statewide nonprofit that has been strengthening families since 1899, serving about 16,000 individuals a year. The nonprofit ranked No. 6 on Pacific Business News’s 2019 Nonprofit Service Providers List with a 2018 revenue of $28.55 million and nearly 500 employees.

Karen Tan, president and CEO, has been in her role with CFS for three years and credits its success to the leaders that came before her as well as the current team she has in place.
