Honolulu-based shipping company Young Brothers LLC appointed two new board members and promoted several employees this month, according to press releases from the company.

Young Brothers has more than 380 employees and is an independently managed subsidiary of Foss Maritime and part of the Saltchuk Marine family of companies.

The company announced Grant Chun and Emily Porter as its two newest board members on April 19. Porter is the chief operating officer at MacNaughton, a Hawaii-based real estate investment and development firm. She is also part of several nonprofit boards, including Child and Family Services, Punahou School, Oahu Transit Services Inc and Outrigger Canoe Club. Porter also was recognized by Pacific Business News in its 2017 cohort of Women Who Mean Business.
