The Hawaiʻi Government IT Leadership Program aims to cultivate the next generation of government IT leaders to help build resiliency and continuity of government services through an ever-changing digital landscape through the spirit of aloha.

By focusing on strategic thinking, effective communication, change leadership, and teamwork, the program seeks to bridge the gap between business and IT leadership, thereby enhancing decision-making, resource allocation, and cross-agency collaboration. This initiative will not only effectively modernize IT systems but also strengthen the state’s ability to deliver seamless digital services, enhance public trust, and optimize technology investments to drive resilience and positive change across Hawaiʻi. The IT Leadership Program was successfully launched with several dozen technology leaders in the State of Hawaiʻi, better preparing them for a number of technology, security, data, and administrative challenges facing the state currently.
