State House Names Four Members to Maunakea Working Group

After the state House adopted a bill in March to create a Working Group for the management of Maunakea, four members have been named. The Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Board of Land and Natural Resources, University of Hawai‘i Board of Regents and Maunakea Observatories selected the following representatives:
- Sterling Wong, chief advocate of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs
- Robert K. Masuda, first deputy at the Board of Land and Natural Resources
- Bonnie Irwin, chancellor of the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo
- Rich Matsuda, chief external relations officer and interim chief operating officer at the W. M. Keck Observatory
