Leadership Immersion
These are interwoven strengths that result from learning from Hawai‘i, dedicated practice, and navigating together. The weaving of these three threads creates capacity for stronger leadership.

Kumu ‘Āina
‘Āina as source and teacher is the first thread. With ‘āina as kumu, the focus is on strengthening relationship to place and purpose. The outcome is a greater understanding of our kuleana and the leadership needed for Hawai‘i that comes from Hawai‘i.
Applied Learning Community
Dedicated practice is the second thread that builds competency. As a leadership immersion rather than leadership development program, the focus is on deepening our knowledge and skills through shared learning. The outcome is greater confidence and clarity of the impact we are having as leaders.
Navigation
Hawai‘i has raised many skilled wayfinders to inform the work of leadership. Our third thread focuses on being equipped to use multiple tools that account for the varied conditions unique to Hawai‘i. This is how we form the pathways that others can follow.
