Utilizing financing of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022, we have the opportunity to develop, install, and finance a portfolio of Solar+Storage+Energy Efficiency projects at LMI households in Hawai’i through a pilot project of Whole Home Energy Retrofits on Department of Hawaiian Homelands (DHHL) households, starting in the communities of Waimānalo, Wai‘anae/Nānākuli, Hau‘ola, and Lāhainā.

The portfolio will leverage significant private and public capital to create an efficient financing structure that can turn into a scalable model statewide.
