Keoni Lee of Hawaiʻi Investment Ready (HIR), Ashley Lukens of Next Gen Donor Hui (NGH), and Lisa Maruyama of Hawaiʻi Alliance of Nonprofit Organizations (HANO) joined forces to launch Kūkulu Switchboard in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Kūkulu is a collaborative resourcing platform that provides an aggregated view of community needs, enabling strategic decision-making, optimally leveraged capital resources, and catalytic impact.

Kūkulu lifts up the legacy and mindset of abundance and wealth in our communities and helps build equitable relationships between philanthropy and the communities driving innovation. The platform has facilitated dozens of connections to resources, fostered cross-sector collaborations, and will build on these successes to continue working towards a resilient future for Hawaiʻi.
