Alexander & Baldwin officially broke ground this week on a 121,000-square-foot Kapolei warehouse project it's building on land it's owned for more than a decade.
The project is being built on A&B’s 35-acre Komohana Industrial Park property, where a few other warehouses stood before being torn down. The new facilities will include two Class A warehouses, one of which already has an agreement with Lowe’s to lease space for a distribution center.
The project is slated to finish construction in late 2026.
“This project represents an opportunity to transform under-utilized yard space into productive warehouse facilities, aligning with Alexander & Baldwin’s strategy of maximizing our industrial-zoned land to address the needs of one of the most supply-constrained industrial markets in the country,” A&B CEO Lance Parker said in a statement. “Once completed, Komohana Industrial Park will encompass nearly 350,000 square feet of GLA, with additional acreage available for future expansion.”
