American Savings Bank To Provide New Mortgage Options to Native Hawaiian Community

American Savings Bank recently announced it has been approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide HUD 184A and FHA 247 loans, which provide affordable financing options to the Native Hawaiian community for the purchase and refinance of homes on Department of Hawaiian Home Lands leased land.

“We are passionate about uplifting our local community through meaningful financial support and guidance,” Ann Teranishi, president and CEO at American Savings Bank, said in a statement. “Our new loan programs allow us to further our commitment to building a better, stronger Hawaii by expanding access to affordable homeownership.”
