Hawai‘i Energy Gives Kunia Camp $200k Efficiency Overhaul

The historic Kunia Camp agricultural community in Central O‘ahu recently underwent a multi-pronged energy efficiency overhaul valued at nearly $200,000 to reduce its bills courtesy of programs with Hawai‘i Energy.
Hawai‘i Agricultural Research Center, or HARC, which subsidizes rent at the camp’s low-income homes, joined Hawai‘i Energy’s EmPOWER cohort for nonprofits to identify areas that could be improved at no cost to itself.
