The Hawaiian Council, formerly CNHA, a local nonprofit organization working to advance the cultural, economic and community development of Native Hawaiians, has appointed Josh Stanbro as the chief administrator of its new clean energy initiative.
The program, called Kalāhiki, was created to help Hawaii achieve a clean energy economy to minimize climate impacts and threats, and bring energy affordability to residents, through collaboration with government leaders, industry partners and the community. It is also meant to ensure Hawaii residents have access to affordable assets in home resilience, hurricane protection, fire hardening and heat abatement.
