Elisia Flores, CEO of Hawai‘i-based plate lunch chain L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, was recently recognized among a national group of leaders in the restaurant industry.
Flores was included in FastCasual.com’s list of Women in the Lead 2025, which features 21 women leaders in the industry from around the country. FastCasual.com is an online trade publication that focuses on the fast casual restaurant industry. Released last week, the list highlights “women leading the fast casual industry."
Flores launched her career at General Electric, where she held senior finance roles, before returning home in 2014 to join the family company (her father is L&L co-founder Eddie Flores Jr.). She started at L&L as chief financial officer and took the helm as CEO in 2019.
In the role, Flores led the company through the Covid-19 pandemic, and today, the brand is growing quickly. Its seen recent expansion both locally and on the Mainland. Flores previously told Pacific Business News that she aims for the company to have 500 stores by 2032.
