Mālama I Ke OlaHealth Center, also known as Community Clinic of Maui, or CCM, recently received a $126,700 grant from the Hawai‘i Dental Service Foundation.
The dental clinic offers access to several dental care services including routine exams, x-rays, deep cleanings, fillings, and crowns, among others. The funds will be used for new dental equipment that will allow 12 of CCM's dental operatories to reopen.
CCM will be able to see multiple patients in an open bay clinic layout and provide more complex treatments, with the help of the new medical grade HEPA air filters in each dental operatory. CCM’s new intraoral scanner will also provide a faster turnaround time for crowns and bridges.
