The holiday shopping season is just around the corner, meaning many are looking for great deals and flash sales. But experts say you also need to be on the lookout for cyber-criminals and phishing scams.

“The world loves Hawai‘i,” said Meli James, House of Mana Up Hawai‘i. “We’re globally loved, globally recognized and people want Hawaii products all year round. Whether they’ve come over to the islands or not, so it’s been incredibly powerful to have more of a digital presence.”
Business is picking up here before the holiday shopping season, but experts say what’s also picking up – online phishing scams.
