Rediscovering Hawaii’s Soul is a movement by the Hawai‘i Executive Collaborative to build a shared understanding of the depth of meaning, history, and value of Hawai‘i.
Former Gov. John Waihe‘e has been with the team since its inception.
“All of us living here, why is this someplace that we’ve fallen in love with and how do we keep ... Hawai‘i in a way that we continue that kind of relationship,” he explained.
While people may be on opposite sides of an issue, Waihee says by realizing both sides have the same foundation, they can come together to work on a solution.
