Taking on Tomorrow: July 2021
July 29, 2021

Learning is a lifelong process and we are proud to feature highlights from Fellows making impacts in education, from early childhood and school-aged keiki to college and beyond. As summer winds down and a new academic year is about to begin, we’re going back to school to get inspired by these educational projects and leaders.

In this issue of Taking on Tomorrow, discover how young wahine are getting immersed in science and technology and get an update about a program that is successfully helping parents increase children’s language development skills. Find out about a program that is supporting local educator-entrepreneurs learn and develop skills. We also celebrate a Hawai‘i Community College milestone and a collection of apps, developed by professionals and students, that are helping people with ALS thrive. Each of these programs gets an A+ for building curiosity, creativity, and confidence in our leaders for generations to come.
