Before leaving office, former Hawai‘i Governor David Ige appointed Elisia Flores to the East-West Center’s Board of Governors on Nov. 29.

“Elisia Flores will help advance the East-West Center’s mission of Asia Pacific collaboration, and I thank her for serving on the board,” said Gov. Ige.

Flores will fill the board vacancy left by the passing of Ronald Moon. Flores’s term will expire on June 30, 2024.
