Hawai‘i Community Foundation Donates $132k to Kaua‘i Emergency Efforts

Hawai‘i Community Foundation has donated $132,500 in grants to emergency response efforts in Kaua‘i, the local organization announced Tuesday.
The grants, which are from donations to the Kaua‘i Strong Fund, come after Kaua‘i experienced flash flooding that resulted in a massive landslide cutting off road access to the North Shore on Thursday. The Kaua‘i Strong Fund was created to build community resilience by providing resources for disaster preparedness, response and recovery.
