The City and County of Honolulu launched a new financial resource for local entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Applications are now open for the Oʻahu Small Business Loan Fund, a new micro-loan program designed to provide flexible financing to early-stage entrepreneurs who can’t access to traditional bank loans.
The loan offers range from $5,000 to $50,000 with character-based underwriting, no minimum credit score requirement and below-market interest rates of 6–8%.
The program was opened through the City and County of Honolulu’s Office of Economic Revitalization and the Feed the Hunger Fund, a Community Development Financial Institution.
